Happy Monday everybody! Engagement session season is in full swing and I have SO many sessions that I want to share with you in the coming days. First up? Amy and Shea’s Colorado Mountain engagement session!
Amy and Shea live in the little mountain town of Silverthorne, Colorado. When we met up over the summer to chat about their Silverthorne Pavillion wedding I immediately knew we were going to be a great fit! These guys love the outdoors, music, and craft beer – obviously it was meant to be!
They knew that they wanted to do their engagement session on a secret trail above Lake Dillon and I was totally on board! We hiked for half an hour or so up to a beautiful lookout over the lake and just hung out for a while waiting for the light to get good – and man, did it get good! As the sun set behind the mountains the world lit up – we got everything from beautiful glowy golden light to perfect pink skies and alpenglow hanging on the mountains. This evening was just so much fun – look at all that laughter! 🙂
After the sun dropped below the mountains we made our way back down the trail and then headed over to their favorite brewery for a beer and some live bluegrass. I love it when couples start out as clients and turn into friends and I’m pretty sure that all engagement sessions should end at breweries!
Here are some photos from their session! Enjoy! 🙂
